Trying to find the best halal restaurants in Manchester!

PLEASE NOTE: The information in this post is from a mixture of my own personal experiences, email replies from the restaurants and information available online. I have tried to make it correct as possible and try to keep it as up-to-date as possible but I suggest calling restaurants and double-checking the details yourself beforehand if you are very concerned about visiting a restaurant that doesn’t serve all halal meat and does serve pork and/or alcohol. Allah knows my intentions inshallah.

Fully Halal Restaurants in Manchester

Here is a list of the fully Halal restaurants in Manchester detailed in this post.

Now, when I say fully Halal, I mean all Halal meat. Some of these restaurants (actually, most unfortunately) do serve alcohol and I have noted against each if they do or not. Some also serve Pork which I have also noted.

Below that list, is a list of restaurants in Manchester with Halal options, meaning they serve some Halal meat alongside non-Halal meat and pork.

1. 2Nakhon

  • Cuisine: Thai
  • Location: Didsbury
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

One of the main reasons I wanted to put together this guide to Halal food in Manchester is to showcase restaurants like this that from the outside you probably wouldn’t think are Halal!

For Thai Halal Restaurants in Manchester, 2Nakhon is where I recommend you go! They do serve alcohol but no pork.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, chilli basil dish at 2nakhon, Thai halal restaurant in manchester
The Chilli Basil dish at 2Nakhon, a great Thai halal restaurant in Manchester!

One of the owners is Thai, the other is Nigerian making this a great Thai Halal restaurant in Manchester.

It’s a fairly small restaurant so be sure to book ahead. It’s pretty intimate and pink inside so great for a girl’s dinner.

2. Baity Palestinian Kitchen

  • Cuisine: Palestinian
  • Location: Salford Quays Kargo Market
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

This is an Arab restaurant in Manchester so you know it’s going to be halal but it’s so good it has to be high on my list of halal restaurants in Manchester!

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Baity restaurant Chicken Musakhan
I love the Chicken Musakhan at Baity and it’s one of the best halal restaurants in Manchester!

Baity Restaurant spent a few years on the high street in Didsbury however this location is no longer open and instead you’ll find them within Kargo Market at Salford Quays open all day except Mondays and despite their change in location, they still offer all of their best dishes which change seasonally too!

If you’re looking for a halal Sunday roast in Manchester, Baity offers this too. They don’t take bookings at their Salford Quays location so, just turn up!

I love the decor of Baity, it’s great for a date night, lunch or dinner with friends or with family.

3. Damo Altrincham

  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Location: Altrincham
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

A fairly new cafe and restaurant in Altrincham is Damo which is Muslim-owned. They told me that ‘everything from the kitchen is 100% Halal Certified. No pork and alcohol are used in the kitchen.’ They do serve alcoholic drinks on the floor.

Damo offers a relaxed but boutique feel day and night.

They are open from 12:00 for lunch and dinner, be sure to book your table in advance, especially for dinner as it’s not a huge restaurant.

If you’re looking for halal Italian food in Manchester, Damo was set up by 3 brothers who have a passion for authentic Italian cuisine and everything is made with high-quality ingredients so you shouldn’t be disappointed! You’ll also find more than just pizza here!

4. The Drop Bar Cafe

  • Cuisine: Caribbean
  • Location: Chorlton-cum Hardy
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

The Drop Bar Cafe is another big reason I wanted to write this Halal Food Manchester guide because you wouldn’t walk past this place and think it’s Halal but it is!

No pork is served here on their menu and all of their meat is halal, including goat meat!

This halal Caribbean restaurant in Manchester is friendly and vibrant. It’s a small restaurant but I once went with about 12 other ladies and they seated us fine. I love the music they play and the relaxed decor.

They do serve alcohol but they have a seating area at the front which is covered but separate from the main restaurant so if you sat here you are away from the bar.

Their portions are huge too so bear this in mind!

5. Gaijin Dumpling House

  • Do they serve Pork? No

For halal Chinese restaurants in Manchester and to get all of your dumpling cravings satisfied without worrying about pork on the menu, check out Gaijin Dumpling House!

Gaijin Dumpling House is one of the surprisingly halal restaurants in Manchester,

They offer the best Asian fusion food in Manchester which is all halal, think Pad Thai Katsu Curry Noodles, and they do not serve alcohol.

Their restaurant offers a casual setting opposite Levenshulme metro station. They are a small restaurant so it’s best to book in advance.

6. Sakura Japanese Restaurant

  • Cuisine: Japanese
  • Location: Cheetham Hill
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

Sakura Japnese Restaurants offers Muslims a really unique halal restaurant option in Manchester!

Typically, Japanese food is not halal, so it’s great that Sakura offers an option for Japanese halal restaurants in Manchester.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, sushi and noodles at Sakura Japanese Restaurant Manchester
Looking for halal sushi in Manchester?

Their set-up is ‘all you can eat’ for a set per-person price.

What’s really fun though is that you order your food through a tablet they provide you with which gets served to your table by robots that look like cats… a truly unique Japanese experience.

I love that the dishes are small meaning you can order lots of dishes to try and if you don’t like them, there’s not much wastage. We took the kids because they’d been wanting to try sushi and this was a great way to get them try as much as they wanted without paying a fortune on sushi they might not eat!

They also offer fried noodles, chicken and chips for those that are not as adventurous.

I wouldn’t go here for a date night, it’s pretty casual and the food is not the best Japanese food in Manchester, but it’s a fun place to visit as a family or group to try new foods in a relaxed environment.

7. Caramello

  • Cuisine: Brunch
  • Location: Didsbury
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

Caramello is more of a cafe than a restaurant and features on my halal cafes in Manchester post.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Avocado and egg on toast with matcha latte at Caramello of Didsbury, halal brunch manchester
The food presentation at Caramello is so good. It’s more for lunch and a halal brunch in Manchester!

But they do stay open until 5 pm and serve lunch as well as brunch, plus they are a Manchester favourite so if you’re coming from outside of Manchester, it’s good to know where many of the locals go!

They don’t take bookings which means the queue can be quite big on weekend mornings. Inside the decor is fun, flowery and light and they offer a range of breakfast and burger options.

8. Yard & Coop

  • Cuisine: Chicken
  • Location: Northern Quarter, City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

I’ve been here a few times with my husband. It’s a super fun Chicken restaurant with Chicken in more ways than you can imagine!

As they say on their website, all of their chicken is halal. Yard & Coop does have quite a ‘bar’ feel to it, especially in the evening and especially on the weekend but to the side of the bar is seating which is pretty contained from the bar and I really like the upbeat atmosphere.

Their decor is casual with cool ‘coop’ style seating and a menu full of buttermilk fried chicken, dirty fries and junk food vegan options if you don’t fancy chicken even though it’s halal.

9. Etci Mehmet

  • Cuisine: Turkish Steakhouse
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

For a seriously fun evening out, you have to visit Etci Mehmet! The music is loud and they are cooking steaks in the middle of the restaurant with fire, it feels like a party but it’s all halal! There is no alcohol served here and no pork either.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, cut steak from Etci Mehmet, best halal steak in Manchester
For the best halal steak in Manchester, Etci Mehmet is a favourite!

The staff are a highlight, they make a lot of fuss for birthdays and you’ll probably get a staff member feeding you at some point!

Despite not serving alcohol Etci Mehmet is still very popular with people who are not Muslim which shows just how good their food and atmosphere are!

Etci Mehmet is a chain with a few locations in the UK and for the best halal steak in Manchester and the most fun halal restaurants in Manchester, it’s a must-visit!

10. Cibo Hale

  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Location: Hale
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes

For an upmarket experience in Hale on the outskirts of the city, Cibo is one of the surprisingly halal Italian restaurants in Manchester.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Cibo Hale pasta, halal Italian restaurant manchester
For a fine dining experience and a Halal Italian restaurant in Manchester, I recommend Cibo Hale

I emailed them to make sure and they said: ‘I can confirm all of our meats are halal bar the pork-based dishes.’

For halal fine dining in Manchester Cibo is great because it’s pretty fancy and upmarket with seating inside upstairs and downstairs plus a lovely rooftop with heaters.

Downstairs they have an indoor/outdoor section leading onto the pavement which is also heated and lovely to sit in.

11. Zouk Tea Bar & Grill

  • Cuisine: Indian & Pakistani
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

Zouk in the city centre offers contemporary Indian and Pakistani options, and to mix it up, on a Sunday they offer a roast making it one of the few halal Sunday roasts in Manchester on offer!

Being South Asian, of course, all of their meat is halal but I’ve included it in this halal Manchester guide because Zouk Tea Room Bar & Grill is more of an upmarket restaurant so great for a date night or nice lunch or dinner out with family and friends, it’s not an everyday restaurant!

I did find that the seating is very close in here so be prepared to sit close to another table and sometimes they have entertainment which some may like, others not, and they do serve alcohol.

It’s a very popular South Asian restaurant for people who are not looking for halal food too.

12. Ribeye Steakhouse

  • Cuisine: Steak
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

For premium halal Steaks in Manchester, Ribeye Steakhouse in Manchester city centre is a great option.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Ribeeye Steakhouse Steak, halal steak Manchester
Ribeye Steakhouse offer lots of options at different prices for great halal steak in Manchester!

We met friends here recently and I loved the fancy floral decor in the restaurant and loved that they don’t serve alcohol and they do serve really cool mocktails.

This is a Muslim-owned Halal steakhouse in Manchester and I liked that they said As-Salaam Alaikum when we arrived and the customer service throughout was really good.

It wasn’t the best steak we’ve had but it was still good. We liked the beef ribs and lamb chops and there were more premium options of Steak we could have chosen.

13. Hello Oriental

  • Cuisine: Asian
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes

One of my favourite Asian restaurants in Manchester is Hello Oriental. They serve pan-Asian street food-style meals in a relaxed underground setting.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Hello Oriental Nasi Goreng
The Nasi Goreng at Hello Oriental is so good! This is a great open for Chinese halal food in Manchester!

They confirmed to me that all of their meat is halal including lamb, beef, chicken, duck and sushi, but they do serve some pork options too.

In the food hall section called Downtown Oriental, you order via a QR code and the food comes when it’s ready making it even more informal and relaxed. Many of the tables are large sharing tables so it is good to go here as a group and in the evening, especially on the weekend it can get loud with a DJ and music.

We took the kids and thought it might be too loud but they loved the atmosphere and the food.

They also have a supermarket so you can make your own amazing Asian food at home, plus a bakery, cafe upstairs, and a separate Vietnamese restaurant. I advise booking in advance.

14. Akbar’s Restaurant

  • Cuisine: South Asian
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol?
  • Do they serve Pork? No

Here’s another option for South Asian restaurants in Manchester City centre and it’s on this list because it offers a pleasant dining experience and because of its size it’s great for groups.

For something fun, they offer chefs challenges which are hot meat feasts and if you finish it? You get a free dessert and all the pride!

They also serve a huge naan which isn’t as intense but is fun for all of the family to have on the table as it’s so big!

Akbar’s has a chain of restaurants throughout the country so you might have been to one in another city!

15. Syriana

  • Cuisine: Levantine
  • Location: Hale Barns
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

If you’re looking for halal restaurants in Altrincham, Hale or Hale Barns in Manchester, Syriana is perfect!

They serve Levantine food and are a favourite in the neighbourhood of Hale Barns if you are in the area!

All of their meat is halal, they don’t serve pork, and they do serve alcohol but it offers a relaxed vibe throughout the day and night.

16. Rump & Ribs Steakhouse

  • Cuisine: Steak
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

A great option for halal steaks in Manchester because all of the meat at Rump & Ribs Steakhouse is halal and they do not serve alcohol making it a popular spot for Muslims to visit.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Ribs at Rump & Ribs
This is one of the top halal restaurants in Manchester for meat!

This isn’t one of the fancy halal restaurants in Manchester.

It’s nice but the decor is minimal making it a good place for families to visit with young kids as you won’t have to worry about the noise and mess and people around you.

17. Pitmaster

  • Cuisine: Barbecue
  • Location: Wilmslow Road
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

One of my favourite places for halal burgers in Manchester is Pitmaster!

It’s located on Wilmslow Road with so many of the best halal restaurants in Manchester but they really offer something different!

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Pitmaster Brisket Burger, best halal burgers in Manchester
The Brisket Burger from Pitmaster has to be top of the list of the best halal burgers in Manchester!

Centred around BBQ & Smoking, they have amazing meat with options for 8-hour slow-smoked ribs and 16-hour smoked brisket.

They have a friendly relaxed atmosphere with a fast food-type environment but this is way better than fast food. It’s perfect as a restaurant for guys to catch up in, for a quick informal dinner and for families.

18. Archies

  • Cuisine: Burgers / Fast Food
  • Location: All over the city
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

Archies is becoming a Manchester Institution with its amazing burgers and incredibly pink restaurants!

There are currently 5 Archies stores of different sizes all over the city – Manchester Piccadilly Station, Arndale Centre, Oxford Road and The Trafford Centre.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, archies food on pink tray, halal burger places Manchester
Archies is the place to go for halal burger places in Manchester!

They even have one in Terminal 2 in Manchester Airport so if you’re looking for halal food in Manchester Airport and you’re in T2, head there!

The chain is growing with stores now in Liverpool, Birmingham and Leeds but Manchester is where they originated.

For the best halal burgers in Manchester, Archies is it because they offer such a variety in a fast food fashion!

Everything is halal. They are great halal family restaurants for fast food instead of McDonald’s, KFC etc, and don’t miss their shakes either!

19. Evelyn’s Cafe & Bar

  • Cuisine: Modern British
  • Location: Northern Quarter, City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

I was really happy when I found out that Evelyn’s cafe in the Northern Quarter is halal! I love visiting here with friends when I’m in the city, and it’s great as one of the halal restaurants in Manchester City centre.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, halal steak in Evelyn's Cafe in Manchester Northern Quarter
Evelyn’s does halal brunch in Manchester but also a good range of lunch and dinner options

They don’t seem to shout about being halal or mention it on their menu which is a shame but they confirmed to me via email –

‘All of our menus are Halal with no exceptions currently! We don’t serve pork and any pork-based products such as sausages and black pudding (served on our ECB breakfast) are substituted with vegetarian or lamb replacements.’

I love Evelyn’s for brunch and lunch, it’s one of the best halal cafes in Manchester for sure! But, they are open until 10:00 at night and turn into more of a restaurant vibe with a separate dinner menu.

Their dishes vary with a mix of Asian, Arab, Italian and British influences.. perhaps even more and they do offer a Sunday roast making this one of the halal Sunday roasts in Manchester options!

20. Don Tacos

  • Cuisine: Mexican
  • Location: Wilmslow Road
  • Do they serve alcohol?
  • Do they serve Pork?

Finding halal Mexican food in Manchester is quite rare in my experience, but Don Taco’s is located on Wilmslow Road aka the Curry Mile and it does offer authentic Mexican food including Birria Tacos that are halal.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Halal Mexican food in manchester from Don Tacos on Wilmslow Road
Halal Mexican food in Manchester from Don Tacos on Wilmslow Road

Don Taco’s does seem to get lost amongst the Asian and Arab restaurants on Wilmslow Road so I wanted to include it in my halal guide to Manchester to highlight it!

I love their colourful interior and the huge list of options on their menu. Most options come in 3 flavours – medium, spicy and extra spicy so you can choose what you want.

They don’t have much seating but it’s fairly casual so it’s not the type of restaurant people sit in for ages so if you have to wait, you won’t have to wait long and they do take-out and delivery.

21. Eat Meat Halal Steakhouse

  • Cuisine: Steak
  • Location: Withington
  • Do they serve alcohol? No
  • Do they serve Pork? No

When it comes to looking for halal steakhouses in Manchester, this restaurant couldn’t be a more obvious choice!

They don’t serve alcohol which is a huge plus for many Muslims and they offer many unique options to meat lovers in Manchester.

22. Toro’s Steakhouse

  • Cuisine: Steak
  • Location: Wilmslow Road
  • Do they serve alcohol?
  • Do they serve Pork?

Toro’s is the UK’s original Halal Steakhouse offering some of the best halal Steak in Manchester!

They are located on Wilmslow Road, which is the hub of halal food in manchester with so many Arab, Asian and African restaurants. If you frequent Wilmslow Road a lot (like I do!) it’s nice to have a steakhouse to mix it up!

They offer local produce, the finest cuts of meat and have chains all over the UK so you might have been to one before!

23. Comptoir Libanais

  • Cuisine: Mediterranean
  • Location: Spinningfields City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? No

I don’t rate the Comptoir Libanais’ restaurants that highly, to be honest, I find their food pretty average all over the country,

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, selection of food from Comptoir Libanais on colourful table
For halal restaurants in Manchester City Centre or outdoor halal restaurants in Manchester, halal restaurants in manchester, Comptoir Libanais is a good option

But, if you are shopping or having a day in the city and looking for halal restaurants in Manchester City centre, I do like going here because of its ease in Spiningfields, especially with my girlfriends, and I do love the decor of the restaurants!

They have an outside seating area and it is rare to find halal outdoor restaurants in Manchester so it’s lovely in the summer.

Halal Joints got the following statement for their meat – “The meat in all of our restaurants comes from approved and certified halal suppliers. All our restaurants hold alcohol licenses.”

24. Dishoom Manchester

  • Cuisine: Indian
  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes

Dishoom is a favourite for many with its Bombay Indian dishes and I love the decor and ambience of its restaurants.

I love Dishroom for a date night and dinner out with friends and I love that if you’ve been to another one of their restaurants, you know what food to expect.

I contacted Dishoom’s head office to confirm ‘is Dishoon halal?’ and this is what they said in reply to the Manchester restaurant:

All of our lamb and chicken is Halal and is sourced from Halal-certified suppliers. We have copies of the certificates. Please note that we also have alcohol, sausages and bacon on our menu. All Non-Halal items are cooked on a separate griddle or in a specific pan. All utensils are washed thoroughly after being used for these products. These items are also stored in a separate part of the refrigeration area. Should you want to see a copy of the certificates before you eat you can simply request a member of the team upon arrival.’

Because of their Indian cuisine, they do not serve any beef meaning all of their meat is halal except for the pork of course.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, curry at Dishoom, Dishoom Halal Manchester
Many people wonder ‘is Dishoom is halal?’ and all of their lamb and chicken are!

Generally, their menus only include pork in their breakfast menu and not their dinner menu (although please check their menu before if you are cautious of this)

Restaurants in Manchester with Halal options

Here are restaurants in Manchester that are not fully halal but do offer halal options on their menu.

25. Dakota

  • Cuisine: Steakhouse
  • Location: Ducie Street, City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes
  • Is all their non-pork meat halal? No
  • Do you need to pre-order halal options? No

Located inside the boutique Dakota Manchester Hotel is Dakota Grill offering 3 high-quality halal steak options.

Honestly, our steaks here were amazing and that makes sense as the 3 halal steaks on offer at Dakota Grill are USDA prime steak which is the highest grade that meat can be ranked by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, Sirloin Halal Steak from Dakota Manchester Grill
Sirloin Halal Steak from Dakota Manchester Grill

Dakota is on my list of the best restaurants in Manchester with halal options so not all of their meat is halal, they do serve pork and alcohol but we really enjoyed our meal here.

The staff member serving us told us exactly which steaks were halal (all 3 of the USDA steaks) and told us which other food items had alcohol and animal rennet in them which was just the parmesan with the animal rennet and one of the steak’s sauces that had some cooked out alcohol. This wasn’t a problem to us and it was nice to have a waitress who was really familiar with the dishes.

They also made their cocktails into mocktails for us and said they could do this with any cocktail on the menu!

Regarding cooking these steaks on a separate grill, the head chef has confirmed: We will cater to all and any requirements of our halal guests – we use a separate standalone grill for the halal steaks with dedicated utensils. We are always happy to accommodate any other requests too to ensure our guests feel comfortable and enjoy their meal!

Dakota Restaurant in Manchester is not cheap and neither are these USDA steaks but, if you are looking for a fancy date-night halal restaurant in Manchester or a restaurant for a special occasion, you will not be disappointed by the halal steaks on offer here.

The interior of Dakota Grill Restaurant is dark and with an intimate atmosphere and it’s easy to sit away from the bar if you wish.

As well as our steaks, we really enjoyed the sides dishes and the dessert, and if steak isn’t for everyone in your group, they have a vegetarian menu too.

26. Fazenda

  • Cuisine: Argentinian
  • Location: Spinningfields, City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes
  • Is all their non-pork meat halal? No
  • Do you need to pre-order halal options? Yes

For really incredible meat in Manchester, Fazenda is our favourite, and they have restaurants throughout the country.

Easily the best halal meat in Manchester I’ve tried!

Fazenda is not fully halal. You have to let them know you want halal meat when you make your booking and when you arrive they’ll give you a different colour plate to people wanting non-halal meat.

The waiters will then come constantly until you say no with different cuts of meat to put on your plate and because they can see you have the ‘halal coloured’ plates, you will only be offered halal options.

For halal a buffet in Manchester, this is such a great option as there is a buffet you can get up and visit but the staff come around with continual food too!

We’ve been here twice as a family with 3 children. Even though it is a fancy halal restaurant in Manchester and upmarket because of the cost, the boys love it and we felt fine with the children in there. After 6:00 pm they do not allow bookings with children though.

Fazenda is expensive but it’s all-you-can-eat meat and sides so you can really get your money’s worth and the quality is amazing.

There is a bar but it’s at the front of the restaurant away from the seating. Many of the tables are next to decorative wine bottle walls but we have never felt bothered by this when we go.

  • Location: City Centre
  • Do they serve alcohol? Yes
  • Do they serve Pork? Yes
  • Is all their non-pork meat halal? No
  • Do you need to pre-order halal options? No

For Italian halal restaurants in Manchester, Don Giovanni close to Manchester Library is a great option!

They do not serve all halal meat and they do serve pork and alcohol but they are very welcoming to Muslims. Their menu clearly shows which meat options are halal and the staff are happy to explain it too.

We ordered the Steak from here which, despite being an Italian restaurant and not a Steak restaurant, my husband thinks it’s the best halal Steak in Manchester he’s had!

For fancy halal restaurants in Manchester and halal fine dining in Manchester, book a table at Don Giovanni, it’s great for a romantic date night and a nice dressed-up dinner with the girls.

I was a huge fan of this dish from House of Habesha serving Eritrean & Ethiopian halal food

There are a few halal eateries and their website here shows really easily which places are halal in Kargo Market in Salford.

Baity is there with its incredible Palestinian dishes. There’s also Jerk Junction for Caribbean halal food in Manchester, House of Habesha serving delicious Eritrean & Ethiopian cuisine and a South Indian option.

20 Stories is a lovely and face restaurant 20 floors up in Spinningfieds, you might think that 20 Stories is not halal and apart from 2 items on the menu it’s not,

The Wandering Quinn Travel Blog halal restaurants in manchester, prawns at 20 stories restaurant in Manchester City centre
The views from 20 Stories are amazing too!

But I know some people are fine going to non-halal restaurants to eat vegetarian options, fish and one halal option which is why it’s on my guide to the best halal restaurants in Manchester,

Right now, they offer 2 halal items: 35 Days dry aged 10 oz sirloin (halal) & 24oz Rack of lamb, black olive crust, Dijon mustard, and lamb sauce (halal) for 2 people.

This is a pricey restaurant but for halal fine dining in Manchester and fancy halal restaurants in Manchester, with its 2 halal meat options (plus fish and veggie options), it’s a good choice!
